I am trying to develop a list of all of the technology user groups and meetups that would be of interest to those of us who live in the Sarasota County/Manatee County area. STUG Sarasota Technology User Group
Meets monthly on the 1st Wednesday of each month (year-round) (2nd Wed in July 2017) at Sarasota Middle School.
Meetings, Free classes for members, refurbishes computers for needy, lots of help for end users.

Sarasota WordPress Users Meetup Group
This group welcomes all WordPress users, of all levels of experience.
Are you an aspiring user, an occasional user, a daily power user, a designer, a PHP programmer, or do you just think the word “WordPress” sounds cool? Whether or not you use WordPress daily for full featured websites and development or if you’ve just heard that you can make your own blog and website on your own, this group is for you.
This group was so founded by Adam Warner, who wanted to meet others using WordPress. Plain and simple. Like him, we expect that members will be willing to help each other and share their knowledge and advice about the various aspects of WordPress.

Good Deed Gals – Sarasota
Every woman loves time with her girl friends. Add giving back and you have Good Deed Gals.
We have a simple mission: time out with our girl friends + giving back to our community. We meet monthly or more at different locations for a traditional “girls time.” We will do events like dining out, dinner and movie, potlucks on the beach, etc. We will also plan events around fundraising and volunteering.
You will be asked to donate $5 at each get together which is then donated to a local family or local “not for profit” charity in need.

Goodwill Good Neighbor Classes
At Goodwill, we understand that engaged neighborhoods create a stronger, safer and more vibrant community. Our Good Neighbor Classes offer a variety of free classes including small business classes, language and literacy courses, arts & crafts and more taught in locations throughout Sarasota, Manatee, Hardee and DeSoto counties. Some are tech classes, many are not.
